Community Participation Makes it Possible

The all volunteer Sacramento Chapter of the Urban Creeks is completely self supporting. Its many important programs and activities are funded entirely by grants, private donations, chapter memberships, and business sponsorships of events and activities.

Program participation among all age groups is encouraged, and membership is open to anyone who wants to help the Council build awareness of local creeks and the public's role in protecting them.

Community support of the Urban Creeks Council through memberships, sponsorships, and tax-deductible donation is a vital investment in the enhancement and protection of our natural environment, in the education of our children - and in the preservation of Sacramento's quality of life.
